Wakiso Hill 2 – 0 UCU Lady Cardinals
KITENDE: In the return leg of the FUFA Women Super League at St Mary’s Kitende, the UCU Lady Cardinals faced league side Wakiso Hill. Despite a strong start and commendable efforts from Cathy Nassimbwa and Jovia Nakogolo, the Lady Cardinals were unable to secure goals in the first half.
The scoreline turned just two minutes into the second half when Wakiso Hill seized upon defensive lapses to score two quick goals. The Lady Cardinals responded with determination, pushing the play into the opponent’s territory, yet the unattainable goals remained out of reach.
Substitutions in the second half saw Captain Cathy Nakiridde and Mbwali Bridget make way for Mebble Kusasira and Harima Kanyango, bringing fresh legs to the field. However, the scoreline remained unchanged, and the match concluded with Wakiso Hill taking a 2-0 victory.
